Something to crow about?

UK based reviewer / product tester

★★★★ Pistachio nuts

Big packs, great pistachios

Pistachio Nuts. Specially Roasted and Salted Pistachios with Shell. Premium Dry Nuts. Winners of the British Great Taste Awards 2015. A Wonderful Healthy Nutritional Snack of Excellent Quality. One Pack of 2 x 230gr.

These pistachios are very ice indeed… so much so that by the time a pic was taken for the review, one of the packs was already eaten. 🙂

I love pistachios. Not something I get every week, but I do get pistachios at least once a month.

And are these better or worse than pistachios I normally get? Neither – they’re great, but to me all pistachios are great. 🙂

As a plus the packaging does look very fancy, and gives them that more of a “you’re about to eat an exclusive treat”, than just a bag from the supermarket, or a plastic carrier when I’ve been buying them loose. If you ever fancy giving pistachios as a gift – then you won’t find much of a better option than this one.

The pistachios are well roasted, and salted perfectly. As a massive bonus, in the one pack that was eaten so far – there wasn’t a single bad pistachio. Not one! This is very unusual indeed, as there’s generally a few bad ones in that sort of amount.

On the downside, a lot of the shells were too closed for easy access. Might not be an issue for those who don’t gobble them up like it’s their last meal on earth, but to me this put a bit of a damper on my enjoyment.

The packs are BIG. I mean – you’re really getting quite a bit here. Pic taken next to a 2 pint of milk to show the size (remember there’s two boxes… I just seem to have finished one off).

Received as a sample to review – and thank you ever so much – they’re niiiiice!
