Large, lilac – and it works!
And yes – it’s lilac. And to be honest, I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew, I thought the product pics was showing it with a lilac light on (there was no reviews at that time). 🙂
But if you got no issues with the item being lilac – it’s perfect. So much so that it’s not just in use everyday, it’s lilac glory has even been placed in the livingroom! Although I have to admit it’s partially hidden between a chair and a bureau.
Anyway, apart from the initial shock that’s it’s permanent colour is lilac, all it did was impress – it’s large, it’s got clever design, and this thing does it’s job to perfection.
My other two diffusers really cannot even start to measure up to this one when it comes to the use as a humidifier – this one takes takes nearly 3 litres of water! No need to take the water to it, just lift up the big (and lilac!) tank, remove the filter, fill it up, replace filter, and place it back where it belong.
There’s loads of different settings (nothing complicated, a simple turn knob), but here it’s used on full whack every night. It’s so quiet, you don’t even notice. The livingroom used to have very dry air (used to spray curtains daily), and this humidifier has really helped.
It also makes the room smell lovely, as we use Fresh Linen oil in the little drawer on the bottom.
It’s also got the option to set it to a lightshow, or your choice of colour light. Have tested it, but the light isn’t something that gets used on this one (as it’s in the livingroom). It does however look pretty with the lights on, and of course that also means you can choose a different colour than lilac. Hahaha.
When the light is on, you’re also able to spot the waterlevel, but it’ll tell you when it’s low – the little green on light will turn red when it needs filled, and it turns off automatically.
Was able to purchase with a discount, with the promise of an honest review. And it’s great! As a diffuser/humidifier it’s flawless, as a decorative item it is however “very lilac”, but I guess I got no-one else to blame but myself for not realising that was it’s permanent colour. It’s been in use every day for a week, and it really has made a difference.
