Easy to set up and use, but not impressed with the sound
ONEVER LCD Display Wireless FM Transmitter Bluetooth Car Charger MP3 Player Kit Hand Free with Calling Music Control In-car Bluetooth Receiver and USB Charger for iPhone 6 6 Plus 5 5S 5C, Samsung Galaxy S6 S5 S4 S3, Note 3 2, HTC, LG ,Sony & More Smartphones,Tablets, MP4 Players
This little gadget has quite a few good point, but it does have one bad point, and sadly that’s the sound. 😦
It’s a great little size, if there’s not much room in that area where you need to place it in the car (I found the gear stick and upholders, etc sometimes means the smaller the bluetooth device is, the better).
It’s also really easy to use! If you’re a first time user of this sort of thing, it’s not very complicated, and you’ll have it set up in no time at all.
Plug it into the outlet on your car… start the car, and make sure the radio is turned on. Find a radio station that doesn’t actually have anything on it. And now set the little bluetoothgadget to the same station (done by pressing the red hang-up botton for a few secs, and then the + or – on the side of the gadget). Pair it with your mobile (just like you would any other bluetooth device), it showed up as “carkit”.
And that’s it! If someone calls, you can just press the little green button on the gadet – and you will now hear the conversation through the car radio!
You can also use it to stream music from your phone.
It’s also got two USB ports, so you can even charge your phone from through it.
Now I got a Windows phone (sorry, not certain how it works on Android or Apple…maybe google voice or Siri will do the same?),and Cortana will also read me any texts through it, and she gives the option to reply via voice command to the text messages. Texting and driving with both hands on the wheel! 🙂
However… and this is the issue… which although only being one, it quite a big one – there was a lot of static! Didn’t matter if I turned down the bluetooth sound level on my phone, and increased the radio instead, nor changing channels. Sure – you CAN hear conversations and music… but there was a lot of what I can only call “background static”.
Purchased with a discount with the promise of an honest reviewed… and I’m afraid this one’s ended up as a “back up”. I’ll keep it, as now that I’m used to one of these, I wouldn’t want to be without one, so if the one in the car stops working, this one will do nicely as a replacement until I get a new one.
